Dia de los Muertos event at SF State
The Clothesline Project
To bring attention to Domestic Violence Awareness Month, the SAFE Place hosted an event today at SF State. Students painted shirts displaying their thoughts, fears, and hopes on ending domestic abuse. Members of the SAFE Place hung the clothing on a clothesline to honor the victims and women who’ve suffered or died from abuse.

Reporting with Instagram
Last Friday The Guardian posted an Instagram photo story of the Bolivian jungle. I’ve seen a lot of news outlets and journalists using Instagram for The app comes in handy when you don’t feel like carrying all your camera gear. Just take out your phone, snap a photo, and post it to the social media site. It’s a very easy way to share stories and engage with your audience.
A national day of protest against police brutality
Today some SF State students participated in a demonstration for the national day of protest against police brutality. I captured the event through photos,Twitter,Tout and Vine.
